Between seasons, clear the last season’s teams and bans in the Danger zone on Settings. Its two actions, Disband teams and Lift active bans, each affect everyone at once. Neither action touches the schedule, the results, the rules or anyone’s staff access.

Before you start

  • You need access to each action you use; they’re separate kinds of access. See How access works.
  • Lifting bans is optional: a ban with an expiry date ends by itself.

Disband every team

1

Open Settings

In the sidebar, select Season → Settings, and scroll to Danger zone.
2

Start

Beside Disband all teams, select Disband teams to open the Disband all teams? dialog.
3

Confirm

Type disband teams and select Disband teams. “All teams disbanded.” confirms it.
After disbanding:
  • Every team is deleted, and every player is left without a team. The Player Hub’s Teams page is empty until new teams are verified.
  • Player accounts, staff notes and bans stay.
  • Every player must agree to the Terms of Participation again when they next join or create a team.
  • Matches already on the schedule keep the teams’ names and results.
  • Teams chosen with Choose teams manually on Intermission are cleared.
Disbanding every team can’t be undone. Captains must create their teams again, and staff must verify them again.

Lift every active ban

1

Open Settings

On Settings, scroll to Danger zone.
2

Start

Select Lift active bans to open the Lift all active bans? dialog.
3

Confirm

Type lift active bans and select Lift active bans. “Ban list cleared.” confirms it.
After lifting:
  • Every ban in force ends, and those players can sign in again.
  • Each ban stays in the player’s History on Players, with their staff notes.
  • A banned player with staff access gets it back when they next sign in.
  • Players aren’t put back on the teams the ban removed them from.
Lifting every ban can’t be undone. To ban someone again, ban them one at a time on Players.

Start the new season

Then set up the new season as usual: open sign-ups, write or duplicate the rules, verify the new teams and plan the schedule.

Next steps
