# Set up your player profile

> See what your player profile shows, choose a preferred name and region, and share a link to it.

Every player who signs in to the Player Hub gets a player profile: a page with your name and picture that others can open. You choose the name and region it shows, and can share a link to it.

## Before you start

* Sign in to the Player Hub with Discord once. Your profile exists from your first sign-in.

## What your profile shows

* **Your picture and Discord username.** Both come from Discord and update each time you sign in.
* **Your name.** Your preferred name if you set one, with your Discord username beneath it. Otherwise, your Discord username.
* **A staff title set by the league**, if you're on staff.
* **Your team**, once staff have verified it, labelled **Team**, or **Captain of** if you're its captain.
* **Your region**, if you choose one.

Profiles aren't listed anywhere. People reach yours from the Player Hub's Teams page, a team's roster, or a link you share.

## Open your profile

On the Player Hub, select the **Player Profile** card, or your name at the top of any page.

## Change your name and region

  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a region">
    Choose your **Region** from the league's list, or **Not shown** to show no region.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Select **Save**. "Profile settings saved." confirms it, and your profile updates straight away.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  If the league stops offering your region, your profile keeps it and the list shows it as **(Unavailable)**. Once you change it, you can't choose it again.
</Note>

## Share your profile

On your profile, select **Copy profile link** and paste the link where you want it. If your browser blocks copying, copy the address from the address bar.
