# The Player Hub

> What's on the Player Hub's home, schedule, teams and rules pages, and what changes when you sign in.

The [Player Hub](https://www.tournamentsystem.xyz/theblackvale/player-hub) is The Black Vale League's player site, where you follow the season, read the rules and run your team.

Anyone can read the schedule, teams and rules without signing in. Sign in with Discord to join or create a team and to have a player profile.

## The top bar

The bar along the top of every page shows where you are and links to the Player Hub home page. On the right:

* **Signed out**: **Log in** signs you in and returns you to the page you were on. **Sign up** signs you in and takes you to join or create a team.
* **Signed in**: your name and picture open your player profile, and **Sign Out** signs you out.

## The home page

The home page is a set of cards. Select a card to open its page.

| Card | What it shows |
| :- | :- |
| Your team | Signed in and on a team, it's **My Team**: your team's name, logo, status, player count and roster, captain first. Otherwise it reads **Join or Create a Team**, or **Join a Team** after sign-ups close. Signed out, selecting it signs you in with Discord first. |
| **Schedule** | The next match, stream or event and when it starts, or "Nothing scheduled yet". |
| **Teams** | Opens the list of verified teams. |
| **Season Rules** | Opens the rules. |
| **Socials** | Links to The Black Vale's channels, such as [Twitch](https://www.twitch.tv/theblackvaleoce) and [Discord](https://discord.gg/5Q2P9TaC4E). |
| **Player Profile** | Your name, Discord username, verified team and region. Signed out, it asks you to sign in. |

## Schedule

The **Upcoming** tab lists what's to come, soonest first. Each card has a date tile, the two teams or the stream or event title, and the time. A match also shows its round and Best of, such as Best of 3. A countdown on the right shows how long until it starts, or **Live** for a match in play.

A stream is one broadcast night and its matches. It shows as one block: its card, then its matches still to play. A match without a time shows "Time to be confirmed".

The **Bracket** tab lays out the season's matches in one column per round, such as Round 1 or Semi-final. Staff fill in each pairing as the season goes.

The Player Hub shows every time in your time zone.

## Teams

The Teams page lists every verified team, alphabetically. Each card shows the team's logo, name, number of players and roster, with the captain first and marked **Captain**. Select a player's name to open their profile.

Teams still forming or waiting for review appear once staff verify them.

## Season Rules

The rules page shows the rule set staff chose for the Player Hub, under its own title. A **Contents** list at the top links to each section, and **Last Updated:** shows when the rules last changed.
